Meet Joshua Tevita Moala, Owner & Program Director
Tevita Care was founded with one simple belief: every adult with a developmental disability deserves the chance to grow, connect, and thrive in their community — no matter the challenge.
As owner and program director, Joshua is involved every day. Our adult day program is built on a family culture where everyone is valued, supported, and treated with care. As a vendored San Diego Regional Center provider (Service Code 531, Vendor #HQ2269), our services are 100% free for families. No cost taken out.

Adult Day Program Services in San Diego
Three core programs — community outings, health & wellness coaching, and life skills development — each tailored to the individual. Designed for adults with developmental disabilities throughout San Diego County.
Community Outings & Activities
We get out into the real world — parks, museums, restaurants, local events. Participants build social skills, practice independence, and stay connected to the San Diego community they call home. All outings are completely free.
Health & Wellness Coaching
Every participant gets an individualized plan for fitness, nutrition, and daily well-being. We coach healthy habits hands-on — not just talk about them. Social connection is a key part of wellness.
Life Skills Development
From money management to grocery shopping to computer skills — we teach the skills that lead to real independence. Participants practice in real settings, not classrooms.

Adult Day Program FAQ
Common questions families ask about Tevita Care's adult day program in San Diego.
An Adult Day Program provides structured daytime activities, supervision, and support for adults with developmental disabilities. Participants engage in community outings, life skills training, health & wellness coaching, and social activities.
Our program serves adults (18+) with developmental disabilities who are Regional Center clients. If your loved one has a Regional Center service coordinator, they can request Tevita Care as their day program provider.
We provide daily pickup and drop-off completely free. Transportation is included at no charge. Our vehicles cover communities throughout San Diego County, so your loved one gets a safe, reliable ride every day.
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
Each day includes a mix of community outings (parks, museums, local events), health & wellness activities (fitness, nutrition coaching), life skills training (cooking, budgeting, daily routines), and social time with peers.
